It maintains the oestrogen and progesterone levels in the blood and prevents the fertilization of the egg in the ovary. It is also said to have a profound effect on the skin. The skin is said to clear up and become acne-free because of the use of orthoCyclen.
OrthoCyclen is approved to be used by women fifteen and above. It is also used to treat the symptoms of menopause like hot flashes, drying of the vaginal area and moodiness.
OrthoCyclen can be associated with risks of stroke or heart attack but to a lesser extent. This varies from person to person. This is a hormone patch treatment or replacement therapy and so should not share it with others.
