Paxil and celexa is used to treat minor blues and anxiety. Lexapro can be had if you suffer from general anxiety disorder.
Those suffering from a bipolar disorder need to take medication for both .You must evaluate your condition and make sure the medications don't act antagonistically to your physiology. Even if your symptoms start vanishing, you must continue the drug for 4 to 9 months to prevent its recurrence. Anticonvulsants and sedatives are also prescribed sometimes with the antidepressants; those are only to ease the anxiety or sudden seizure. Antidepressants can induce drug-abuse, so you must be strictly monitored by a doctor as to the changes in symptoms and the improvement.
